Metallised labels
Transparent ink on a mirror facestock gives colours that CMYK on white will never reach.
Metallised film works like backlighting: transparent inks gain metallic depth and unprinted areas stay pure chrome. In supplements and cosmetics this is the fastest way to make a pack look more expensive than it cost.
Available are metallised, holographic and iridescent films (shifting between red and green), which we combine with opaque white where the colour should stay “ordinary”, and UV varnish — gloss, matt or spot. We refine the artwork together — on metal every decision about white changes the effect.
Good to know
An argument few people remember: metallic and holographic effects work in e-commerce too. Light reflections in product photos catch the eye exactly as they do on the shelf — a well-designed metallised label is free “animation” on the product page.
What you can choose from
Metallised films (metPP)
Mirror silver under transparent inks — a deep, “backlit” metallic that CMYK on white cannot reproduce.
Holographic films
Rainbow patterns and microstructures — maximum attention on the shelf and an extra barrier against counterfeits.
Iridescent
Films that shift colour (red–green) depending on the viewing angle — an effect impossible to achieve with ink.
Metallised papers
Silver paper as a cheaper alternative to film — a metallic effect while keeping the stiffness and printability of paper.
The adhesive does half the work
Permanent clear
Does not disturb the metallic effect and holds reliably on supplement and cosmetics jars and bottles.
For glass and PET
Formulations for the smooth, high-energy surfaces of premium packaging.
