Flexible labels
A coffee bag bends hundreds of times before it is empty. The label has to survive every fold.
Soft packaging is constantly moving: the doypack bulges, the valve bag bends at every opening, the sachet twists in transit. A rigid label on such a surface wrinkles and lifts at the corners. What is needed here is a thin, flexible facestock that moves together with the packaging film.
We use squeezable-grade films — up to 40% thinner and lighter than standard PE — with an adhesive matched to the packaging laminate, including metallised ones like gold coffee bags. For packs opened repeatedly (wipes, sachets) we have reclosable labels that seal tightly even on wet film.
Good to know
Where does the problem come from? Soft packaging works like a hinge at every opening — a rigid label then acts as a stiffener and starts lifting from the corners. If you are launching new packaging, send us a sample: we will select the construction on the actual bag, not “by eye”.
What you can choose from
Squeezable films
Up to 40% thinner and lighter than standard PE. They move with the pack — doypack, valve bag, sachet — without wrinkling at the folds.
Mono-material PP / PE
A label made of the same plastic as the pack — everything goes into a single recycling stream (an approach endorsed by RecyClass).
Metallised films
Gold and silver finishes on soft packaging — like premium coffee bags — without losing flexibility.
Laminates and flow-pack
Materials matched to the packaging films of packing machines — the label does not peel at seals and folds.
The adhesive does half the work
Flexible permanent
Bends with the pack thousands of times without losing adhesion — matched to the laminate it will work on.
Reclosable (reclosure)
A reclosable label that seals a pack of wipes or sachets tightly — protecting the contents from drying out.
For wet surfaces
Special formulations hold and reseal even on damp film — the standard for wet wipes.
You do not need to know these terms — just tell us what the label has to stick to and the conditions it will live in. Our technologist will choose the rest.
